[ It’d been a few days now since Rina finally came home to Japan and reunited with her family, a few of her fellow murdergame survivors in tow. There’d been a lot of questions, a lot of her mother demanding answers from these strangers, and after so much talking and crying, she managed to explain it all and get them to accept the truth of what had happened.
Getting them to accept that she had a boyfriend AND a girlfriend now, well… that took a bit of extra time. Especially when Rina requested that the boyfriend be allowed to stay with her for a little while. And even more so when she declared suddenly that she was considering moving to his world post graduating.
It had just been them for a while now though, after Farrah left with her dads to set up their new home. She was more than happy to spend that time resting, showing off her home and all of the stuff she’d made herself, as well as work on a communication device for the two of them.
Today though she’s feeling a bit more restless. ]
Varian.
[ She pops her head into his field of sight, whatever he might be up to right now. ]
Do you want to go on a date? A real one this time.
[ That isn’t like. In a weird liminal prison they’re trapped in and underneath a tree that he later brought her dead body to. Or whatever dead prom counts as. ]
[Farrah’s stared her own murderer in the eye. She’s argued people to their literal deaths. She’s gone back to high school after going viral—- but she’s never been this nervous before.
Which she knows is stupid. Rina’s seen her through her very worst, heard her say dumb stuff and watched her ugly cry, and still had said she’d be her girlfriend. Rina had literally come back to life to hold Farrah’s hand, like that wasn’t just like, pristine fairytale bullshit proof that love is real, but still—- Farrah’s really freakin nervous! It’s been a little longer than she’d like since she had last seen her girlfriend, with Rina having to get back in the swing of things back home, and with Farrah busy helping set up her new primary home— but now, finally, she’s getting to see her again. And almost more exciting and anxiety making, Varian was off doing like, his job or something lame like that, which means—- for the first time? Farrah gets Rina all to herself.
She’s perched on a step outside of the literal freaking palace that she lives in now, petting soup the rabbit, and pouting as she stares at the space where. Any minute now. Rina should get yeeted through a portal. Any minute now.]
