[ The store isn’t as big as the Gundam store but it’s still pretty big and WAY more spacious. Despite the open space though all the walls are lined with as much character merchandise that they can fit. T-shirts, mugs, bags, plushies, beauty products and more, and of so many different characters and animals. Mostly of the cat, but also dogs, bunnies… and an entire section dedicated to the egg.

At some point Rina let go of his hand and started looking closer at the plushies, looking intently at some rabbit characters. ]

Farrah-chan really liked plushies while we were stuck in the school didn’t she…

[The egg is weirdly fascinating, if he's honest. He guesses you could put a cute face on anything and it'd be appealing, though. Like, he's literally carrying around a keychain of a robot orb with a face, so that's not a glass house he can throw stones in.

Varian follows along with Rina until they make it to the plushies, chuckling when she brings that up.]

Oh yeah. I got to a point where I just gave her all of mine that Ruddiger didn't claim first.

[ She picks up a rabbit And looks at it closely. One of the less represented characters here. ]

And she had that pet rabbit now too right? Mmm…

[ She holds it up to him ]

Do you think she’d like it? I know it’s really cutesy but…

[ Farrah said she liked her, and she’s cute and pink so— ]

Are you kidding? I think she'd love it.

[Varian props his fists up on his hips, nodding towards the rabbit in question.]

I think she'll especially love it because it came from you, though.

Really?

[ She looks back at the Bonbonribbon plushie before nodding and holding it close to her, deciding to go with it. ]

Okay, I’ll get this and something smaller then. [ She and Varian have matching keychains now so it’s only fair she have matching ones with Farrah too. ]

I just worry a little sometimes… with you it’s easy to know what you’d like because we have the same interests, but I feel a little less certain with Farrah-chan, so I want to be extra sure she’ll like it.

But… if you really think she’d especially like something because it came from me then… I suppose I should worry less.

[ She just wants to be a good girlfriend. To both of them >_< ]

I think you know more about her than you realize. It's hard to think of things in the moment, but...so far, you haven't suggested anything I think she'd absolutely hate or anything. Which is kiiinda important.

[ She pauses a moment to get her board up. ]

[ She’s walked over to a rack of keychains now, looking them over. ]

[Varian rocks back on his heels, looking around at all of the bright colors and cutesy mascots all over the place.]

I wouldn't call it exactly my taste? But it IS cute. So I can appreciate that.

I mean, I think I know a thing or two about cute things at this point.

[Said as he leans in to put an arm briefly around Rina, pulling her close to his side.]

I should know, I have one.

[ At suddenly being pulled in closer and hearing that, Rina’s face starts to turn red and she quickly puts the board back up after lowering it a little to look at the keychains ]

Ah…

Y-You going to… embarrass me… a little…

[ But she doesn’t mean that in a bad way. ]

[Sorry Rina, your boyfriend just cannot help but be absolutely insufferable. He'll only hold her near for a moment, just long enough for him to kiss the side of her head before he pulls away.]

A little? Clearly I'm not trying hard enough.

[Terrible.]

[ SCREAMS VARIAN THE STORE CLERK CAN SEE THEM!!!!

Her face feels even hotter as he kisses her and she keeps the board up to hide behind. ]

[ And then she faces him with a more determined board >:( ]

[IT'S FINE WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO, ARREST THEM FOR PDA-

Varian just laughs at that though, p utting his hands back on his heeps so he can lean forward into her space a little, a bit haughtier than before.]

Oh yeah? Should I be scared?

Mmhm, you should be! I’m going to get you real good, just wait!

[ And then YOU’LL be the one blushing and feeling embarrassed, fucker!!! ]

Oh no don't worry, I believe you! And I'll wait...I'm just curious to see what you might come up with.

[Heheheh]

...so! Did you find everything you wanted, you think?

Hmm… [ She looks back over at the keychains ] I wanted to get her something else we could match with, like how you and I have the haros now but…

[ You’ve been distracting her >:(

Her eyes catch something though and with a little “ah” she reaches out for a keychain of My Melody. ]

Look— [ She holds it up next to her face ] Doesn’t this character kinda look like me?

[ Because of course she’s wearing her flower hairpin still. ]

I wouldn't say "kinda". I would say "exactly".

[The resemblance....it's uncanny.]

If you're looking for something to match, I think that'd be perfect.

[ She seems satisfied with this before looking again. ]

There’s a character they always pair up with this one… oh, there she is.

[ She picks up a Kuromi one and looks at them both side by side in her hands before nodding and looking back at Varian. ]

I think… I’ll go with these then.

Those are perfect. I think she'll really like hers.

[And probably keep it on her person literally always from that moment on, if he knows Farrah.

With the items procured, Varian steps aside a bit so Rina can get past him in the aisle so they can make their way back to the front.]

Hey- rememeber how you asked me earlier if I was hungry? I couldn't help but notice they were selling something up front here...

Hm? You mean the cafe? [ She looks off in the direction of it ]

Did you want to try the pancakes?

[Pancakes aren't like...a lunch or dinner kind of food, but neither of them had breakfast anyway, did they? It's fine.]

[He's looking over the selections on display as well. He's been here long enough to get a pretty decent scale of how much is too much or how much is cheap when it comes to yen, so when he sees that they're selling 20 individual ones in a box for 800 yen, he whistles under his breath.]

That's really cheap, isn't it?

[ She looks over at them with him and nods. ]

Mm, it’s pretty cheap. Just getting one with ice cream is 280 yen. Even the donuts and other stuff don’t cost much.

[ Because of course there’s also donuts that look like kitty heads and mochi that looks like the characters. ]

Thankfully most street food is pretty cheap unless you’re getting something really fancy. So whatever you want we can get no problem.

Man. I almost don't know what I want...

[He leans in a little closer to the glass. The donuts look great too, but that rings more as dessert tthan anything else. ...well, as if this isn't ALL dessert.]

Maybe one of the pancakes with ice cream? I like that green flavor...uh. Tea...?

[ She leans in closer as well, but this time to look at the signs with the ice cream options. ]

I think I want… to try the one that’s a swirl of the green tea and milk flavours. With one of the chocolate filled pancakes.

[ I hate that in looking this place up some more I discovered it’s “milk flavour” and not “vanilla”. ]
