[ Luckily for you Varian it is like. The only store on this floor and IMMEDIATELY visible what with the big entrance and big image of a different Gundam right next to the words “Gundam Base” ]

You can pose them any way you want. I think a lot of them even come with alternate hand parts for holding their weapons and stuff.

You know, we might be able to ask my uncle for help too. I actually haven’t built many models before, but I know he really likes this kind of stuff.

Mmhm. You’d probably really like him; he’s an engineer himself and the one who got me into computers and building my own stuff in the first place.

If he’s too busy though I’m sure we can do it ourselves. There’s instructions and all sorts of videos on the net showing you how to make them.

[ That’s more than fine with her!!

She’ll lead him in the shop then, show him all the displays of all the various models and the customs all showcased in the front of the store before heading to where all the models and merchandise are actually sold. After a lot of looking over everything and hmming and hawwing, eventually they find one of the Unicorn Gundam out front for a reasonable price and decide to go with that.

As they’re heading for check out though, Rina spots something and runs up to grab it. ]

Oh— look! They have these too!

[ She holds up a little keychain that’s not of a Gundam but of a different round robot.

Wait wasn’t one of the SQUIPs that came to save them in one of these. ]

[ She turns and looks at the keychain closer. ]

—Oh. Oh yeah CD-kun was in an haro, wasn’t it…

[ yes she did make a point to learn what all the SQUIPs like to be called. ]

B…but- didn’t you say gundam was an anime? These are from that, right?

[God you’d think he’d get this by now since they’ve already had the “none of you are real” existential crisis but here we go again]

They are but… maybe they found a working life size replica? Or something like that. The haros aren’t very big, so it should be easy to make a real life version if you had the means to… the hardest part would probably be getting them to hover.

[ Of course that’s not what r2 did but whatever it’s deadland magic they don’t gotta worry about it. ]

Oh yeah, it is pretty cute. I mean, it’s a little robot, or course it’s cute.

[Varian wonders what they’re for in the anime. Maybe just to be little companion bots?]

[ She nods and then looks at it again for a few more seconds before turning away and going back to where she got it. ]

One second—

[ Soon after she comes back and gently sets down on the box he’s holding two haros instead of one; one pink and one blue. ]

O-oh…I didn’t know they came in other colors…

[He blushes, looking down at the boxes before smiling up at Rina, his eyes creased from his grin.]

These are perfect, though. We ready to buy these, then?

[ She nods again, a little hint if a smile on her face. ] Mmhm.

[ Once it’s all done and paid for and they’re out of the store she takes the haros out of the bag they were put in with the model kit. ]

Do you know what you do with charms like these, by the way? [ She holds out the blue one. ] You can hang them off your backpack.

Oh! Really?

[Varian takes the blue haro in hand, testing out the clasp before carefully pulling his bag a bit to the side to find someplace he can clip it.]

You're sure it won't get lost?

If it does, we can just get another. But they’re pretty sturdy so it’ll take a lot of wear and tear to make one come off - it should be okay.

[ Especially if he only uses the backpack when visiting other worlds or something.

As she says all that she’s clipping hers onto her own side bag, before proudly showing it off. ]

He makes sure his haro is securely fastened to one of the straps near the zippers before he holds his up against hers, smiling at the image of the pink and blue haros next to each other.]

Heehee, you’d be surprised. I know people have had Gundam themed weddings and stuff like that before.

Ah… speaking of. Would you mind if I stopped some place to get Farrah-chan something too on our way out?

[Varian gets his backpack on his back securely again as Rina asks him that, shaking his head slightly before blowing his bangs out of his eyes.]

Oh sure, I don't mind. I'm guessing it's not a place with robots.

[ She starts heading to the elevator. ]

Are you getting hungry by the way? Or are you too excited about the museum to worry about food.
