Poseidon swallows and opens his mouth to say something, but since all that comes out is a vague noise in his throat, he abandons that and instead shifts to reach for said sash. It’s easy to undo- their sons always needed his help tying theirs every morning- but for some reason he’s momentarily consumed with the urge to look away before he does.

But then he remembers they’re engaged, he’s allowed. This booty belongs to him as far as anyone is concerned, so...yeah he’ll just take...care of that.........letting his hands linger on his hips simply because they can]

[ Amphitrite wants to keep up this moment of intimacy going and stay sensual because he enjoys it and the blush that creeps into his face when he feels Poseidon's hands linger.

[It was all going rather well, honestly. Unfortunately, he doesn't even fully get the sash undone before Amphitrite is commenting that he can't figure out how to remove the sleeves...but even if it ruined the mood, he can't help but be amused by it nonetheless.

Unlike on a mer though it's a little hard to tell where exactly that is; Amphitrite's scales blend in very well with his skin and are a lot finer, so it looks a bit more like a... gradient.

[Poseidon is a little surprised when Amphitrite takes it upon himself to finish undressing, but he's not bothered by it either. He figures he's ready to get into something more suited for him anyway...

He's never met a being like the previously-known Megami had been, and he always really assumed that their anatomy was mostly the same save for being parts of different species. [OH...they are close, suddenly very close. But...he all but sinks into the embrace, relaxing against the goddess now that he's less afraid of unintentionally upsetting him. This has been a touchy subject for him, after all, and all he wants is for him to feel comfortable.]

[ He's low enough that when he turns his head he can rest it against Poseidon's chest, listening to his heart with a content smile. ]

He gently pulls away enough so he can pick up the long toga, gently bunching it up until the goddess can slip it easily over the top of his head. He holds it out for him this way, watching to make sure the rest of it’s length doesn’t get tangled up on itself once he puts it on.]

[ He moves quickly, swimming into the toga from the bottom, making sure he doesn't do something dumb like get his arms tangled. But everything works out and his arms and head are all where they're suppose to be.

With the toga now on he backs up a bit, taking the fabric in his hands and turning and twirling, watching it flow and sparkle in the water ]

[Seeing Amphitrite so...happy fills Poseidon with a joy that he honestly can’t properly express. In fact, seeing him in his new clothing, wearing the colors of his children...it actually makes him quite emotional.

He laughs softly as he twirls in the water, discreetly brushing his bangs aside while also wiping at his eyes.]

It looks better than I ever imagined.

[He picks up the necklace, slipping it over his head.
