[ Megami struggles again for a moment, then curses himself for not being able to hold it together long enough to send Osomatsu off without worry. Not being able to do at least that much in front of your son... how shameful of a mother. ]
N-No... you have to go now...! Or else your father will...
[ He doesn't want to finish that thought, so he stops himself from saying anymore.
He tries to force himself back up, and this time manages to do it, just a little. Just enough that he can reach out and put his uninjured hand behind Osomatsu's head, pulling him down just enough that he can kiss him on the forehead.
He's crying now, but he forces a smile for his son. One last smile. ]
[He hadn't been expecting Megami to be able to move at all, even with him begging him to get up...but when the goddess pulls him down and presses his lips to his forehead, he goes very still. He cried all his tears a long time ago, leaving his face uncomfortably dry in a foreign way. And if the urgency wasn't so great, he probably would have remained rooted to the spot, frozen with indecision...whether he should stay, or trust Megami and leave.
He's not sure how much he believes what he says about him being okay...but at this point, he doesn't have a choice.
Osomatsu lingers for just a moment more before pulling away and letting his tail slip back into the water, pushing at the sand to get himself into the sea proper so he can flip himself over and dive. Dive and swim faster than he ever has before in his life, desperate to make it back down there before it's too late.
Too late for Choromatsu, for Poseidon...and for Megami, too.]

If your father comes back for me, I will be fine.
So go.

[ Please other gods... let him see them again.
