[ they're screenshots of some kind of school idol focused merch site that she'd been browsing on her phone by the looks of things. both of them are auctions for secondhand μ's merch -- one's a completed collection of pins featuring all nine members and the second is a huge glossy poster of the group and according to the description, it's been signed by all nine members.
They're both pricey but the poster is definitely the heftier pricetag of the two. ]
I'm a bit torn. Both of these end tonight and I can only afford one of them. Which one would be the best buy? Completed pin collections are getting harder to find these days. But it would leave me with duplicates of Eli-san and Honoka-san. The poster would be an excellent purchase but I'm concerned it might not be legitimate. What do you think?
Just one, I'm afraid. I've already done the math -- If I buy both I'll completely clean myself out of spending money for the rest of this month and a chunk of next month.
[ SO YOU ALREADY CONSIDERED IT, DIA. ]
If I was sure the poster was a legitimate version, I'd go with that in an instant. But the price is a bit low. It's not too low that it's definitely a fake but it's on the lower end of what a completed autograph set will usually go for. And I can't see a good enough view of the handwriting to properly compare it to the signed goods I already have. Isn't it a dilemma?
[ ...ok he has to set a good example for his idol kouhai and not like. be the enabling shitbird he usually is BECAUSE FUCK BUDGET HE WOULD STILL DO IT AND JUST STEAL SOMEONE'S PACHINKO EARNINGS OR SOMETHING
he comes to a decision pretty fast though ]
It really is. (;へ:)I feel for you having to make such a hard decision! But... since that's the case, I say the pin set. Like you said the poster is really easy to fake. Especially for a group that's no longer active. They know the group's still hot, but no one can get new autographs, so it's easy to pass off as real and make quick cash. Plus, when are you going to find another chance for a complete set like that? Even the duplicates you could sell to make some of the money back. Or maybe use them on your bag? Since you won't have to worry about losing or damaging them. Actually, I heard using lots of duplicate merch on bags has gotten really popular lately!
I suppose you're right. After all, it's not as though I don't have any signed goods at all. (Did you know? I managed to find a CD signed by Eli-san last month. I've displayed it on my bookshelf.)
[ HUMBLEBRAG. ]
I'll go with the pin set then. I can always decide what to do with the duplicates once the full set gets here. I hadn't put much thought into putting them on bags though -- I usually keep my collection at home. But I can see why it's starting to pick up steam! It'd be like a sign for your fellow fans that you're a fellow follower of the shining splendor of μ's!!
