Post Airlocked Choromatsu CMO Post


This is an open catch-all post for airlocked!Choromatsu, taking place a few years after the end of the game (though I am down for some more immediate post game threads as well). After no longer feeling like he has a place in his home world anymore, Choromatsu returned to space to seek out his own independence and protect others. He looks a lot different now (he grew his hair back out) and has matured a lot because of his experience, but he’s still good old Choromatsu.

[ Actually knowing what the hell Choromatsu's getting up to in space makes it a lot easier to get in touch with him, but it also makes it a whole lot easier to worry about him, too. She doesn't think that after everything, Choromatsu would be flinging himself headfirst into danger, but... well, you can't just turn being The Mom Friend off, no matter how much easier it would make basically your entire life if you could.

So, she decides to drop by and visit – and she's making it a surprise partially just to cheer him up but mostly because she doesn't 100% trust Choromatsu not to sugarcoat things a little if he's not doing well if she gives him advance warning... because, well, it's exactly what she'd do. She wants to be absolutely sure Choromatsu's doing fine.

So, her next day off, she packs an enormous four-tier bento box (it's definitely excessive but that's just Rii-san for you) and takes herself to see Choromatsu. She's not rude enough to just let herself in, even if she is dropping by as a surprise, so knock knock, Rii-san's at your door and she's got LUNCH ]

[The trial had been rough.

Finding Roland torn apart was hard enough, but it turning out to be poor sweet Mary- who didn't even fully remember what happened- was worse.

No trial was good. But this time Takumi felt a rush of guilt. He had his bow, he could FIGHT. And still he had been unable to prevent anything. Junpei had almost died due to the "demons" he made. Takumi had collapsed in a hallway due to the curse that came with Mai's powers exhausting him. He was useless.

And when he woke to Queenie franyicly shaking him and the bow at his side was a toy again he knew it was true.

After the trial he slunk off to him and Choromatsu's room, snapping the toy in half and throwing himself in the bed to brood instead of eating with the others]
