[Poseidon tries not to look visibly concerned, but it's...difficult. He looks back at Megami one more time before pushing off the sand and sliding backwards into the water, turning around so he can dive headfirst beneath the surface.
The water churns for a moment before it ultimately goes still as a whole minute passes without Poseidon returning. When he does eventually resurface, it's more with an explosion than anything else, causing a massive wave of water to rush up onto the beach and almost cover Megami's tail with the force of it before it pulls back into the sea.]
I have to go, now. It...it is Choromatsu. He is in the sea!
[The sea king pauses only long enough to snatch up his trident embedded in the sand, diving into the water once again.
The instant he's gone, there's a flash of lightning that splits the sky, lighting up seemingly the entire world for a split second before angry, booming thunder follows.
